This Annual Award is chosen by the Board of Directors and Trustees of Stockport County Community Foundation together with their outstanding management team.

Stockport County’s Community Foundation team give a special recognition award each year to a member of the Stockport County Management or Playing Staff who has supported the fantastic day to day work of the Club’s Foundation throughout the year.

The recipient of the award goes to one of the club’s players who has worked with the Foundation for the last two season’s and has really embraced the ethos of County’s Foundation. This player has become a valued Sports Coach delivering our Teaching and Coaching Programme in schools and supported County’s off the pitch programme to become one of our key Champions for County in the Community. The recipient this season has displayed an exceptional, positive attitude and worked hard to represent all the first class Community values which embody the spirit of our great club.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s winner of the Stockport County Community Foundation Annual Award for 2019 is... SAM MINIHAN!
